Do You Have A Winner's Mindset?
Do you have a winner's mindset?
Most people don't. They like to think they do, but they don’t.
That’s the truth.
I know this from firsthand experience, being involved in high-level sports for over 20 years and coaching people in the gym for over 10 years.
Most people aren't prepared to step out of their comfort zone, won’t push themselves and rarely put themselves into challenging situations.
That doesn't create a winning mentality and breed success.
That leads to mediocrity and being average.
Winning in life, at work, in sport and with your body demands that you win every day.
This is not optional and it is not a suggestion.
You must do what your specific goals require.
And look, it's not for everybody.
The world needs average people, too.
But if you aspire to be better than average — if you want to become a winner — you have to put in the work.
"You must be willing to do the things today others won't do, in order to have the things tomorrow others won't have."
Your current situation and the goals you have will require you to complete specific actions, habits and routines.
If you are currently losing (not hitting your goals), then you must accept that something has to give.
Something has to change!
You will need to realise that what you’re doing isn’t working and it’s time to do something differently.
For you, it might mean grasping the following concepts;
If your goal is weight-loss, at times, you WILL feel hungry.
If your goal is to build strength, you MUST lift heavier weights.
If your goal is to improve fitness, you HAVE TO go past old limits.
This is the price to pay. It’s non-negotiable.
This is what needs to happen in order for you to win and achieve your goals.
Whatever physical goal you have, it comes down to your mindset.
Are you prepared to do everything that is required?
Don't say "yes" until you know exactly what it will take to get there.
Here’s what you probably haven’t been told before.
It will take longer than you think.
It will require more effort than you think.
It will demand making different choices.
It will mean changing lifestyle decisions.
That's the price of winning.
Raising the bar on a daily basis, constantly improving and doing everything in your power to hit your goals.
Again, not everyone is willing to go through it and that’s why they never move forward.
That’s why they remain the same person, with the same physique and the same problems year after year.
They just aren’t prepared to develop the mentality and habits of a winner.
How bad do YOU want to win and reach your goals?
