How To Overcome A Weight Loss Plateau
What I'm about to share with you will shock you.
Hopefully, into a form of meaningful action.
The ONLY reason you will reach a plateau and stop making progress with your weight loss, is because your body has adapted and reached a point of what is called “homeostasis”.
This is a point of neutrality, or balance.
If you've ever tried to lose weight in the past, you know from experience that AT SOME POINT, the weight stops coming off.
You hit a wall and the number on the scales just won't budge. No matter what you do or try.
It’s a point of frustration for many people.
But it doesn’t have to be.
You can change that!
In order for you to reignite the fat loss process, you need to change something.
Reduce your calorie intake
Increase your calorie expenditure
Get more sleep
Eliminate all calorie beverages
Drink more water
Be more consistent
Something has to give!
Unless you take deliberate and purposeful action to change something, your body will remain at its current level.
You will remain at the point of your plateau and the weight you currently are.
For how long, you ask? Until something changes.
Now, I'm not saying you need to check your weight every single day -- I don’t recommend that!
Once a week is plenty.
But if you have goals and ambitions to lose weight, drop body fat and the number hasn't moved in the direction you want for a few weeks (or months), you must FORCE it to change.
It won't do it on its own. It needs help (from you).
Hitting a plateau with your weight isn't your fault.
That's just what our bodies do. They adapt and evolve.
They don’t like change.
They like to be kept in balance (homeostasis).
Your body wants to conserve as much energy as possible.
