Member Of The Month (October)

October has come and gone, which means it is time for us to recognise the efforts of one of our athletes as our member of The Month (MOTM).

We have been working with this lady for about 12 weeks, and in this time she has made some huge strides!

She has been working with us 1-3 times per week, as well as completing sessions on her own to help her make progress towards her goals.

We always look at the big picture and there is a huge gulf from where she started, to where she is now.

Some improvements can't be measured though! Such as increased confidence and the massive changes to her technique.

From a coaching standpoint, that stuff is great to see!

Without further ado, we are pleased to announce Kim Shaw as the winner for the month of October!

Kim's dedication to stick to her plan and follow through on her commitments is just one of the reasons which we decided to choose her for this month's award.


Along the 12-week period there were a few hiccups and distractions which popped up, but Kim took it in stride and remembered why she first started this journey.

This held her in good stead and saw her make steady improvements along the way.

Since starting, Kim has learnt how to safely and effectively lift weights, has dramatically improved her eating habits and also learnt self-discipline, which is crucial for long-term success.

We recently conducted a short interview with Kim, to get her thoughts on her experience with us so far and elaborate on her progress.  You can read that below;


Q1- WHEN DID YOU FIRST START TRAINING WITH FULLA SC (MONTH/YEAR)?

A- I started training with Jesse at the beginning of August, as part of my 12-week challenge at the gym (Warehouse Fitness Centre).

Q2- WHAT KEEPS BRINGING YOU BACK?

A- I had a complete fear of going into the gym to use the machines with all the experienced people that were already there. Jesse took me out of my comfort zone straight away and made me stand beside all these people, to show me I wasn’t the only learner and everyone is welcome in that section. It was a massive achievement for me as I had no idea what half of the machines actually did!

Q3- WHAT RESULTS HAVE YOU ACHIEVED SO FAR?

A- My weight-loss has been the pain in my life since having three kids, but Jesse has taught me not to look on the naught step (the scales) but to look further afield and see the results also through inches.  So far I've lost I think 3 kg, and 13.5 cm.  That might not be the correct results now, but it was on my last weigh-in.

Q4- WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 3 MONTHS (IN TERMS OF RESULTS)?

A- In three months time I see myself in a much happier place. More in place with my nutrition and hopefully, the main thing - in a bikini!!!

Q5- WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE SERVICES PROVIDED AT FULLA SC?

A- I love how Jesse always has a smile on his face, makes me laugh and is a complete source of information. I also love the private community (Facebook group), because when I feel I haven't achieved my goals I can look back on tips and see that everyone has these struggles. What a fab team to be part of! 


Once again, we want to say a big congratulations to Kim. We know that she has taken the advice on board and made it a part of her life. Which is exactly what we try to do with our clients.

This will hold her in good stead to achieve further results in the coming weeks and months!
